Multidisciplinary Women’s Epilepsy Program
Our Epilepsy Clinic for women takes a team approach to addressing gender-specific issues. Dr. Maria Sam provides medical oversight for the Epilepsy Program for Women. Treatment is provided by specialists in epileptology, gynecology, medical psychology, obstetrics and social work. The team can thoroughly evaluate women¹s health issues across the lifespan and how their hormones and their epilepsy interact.
