MD Program Tuition, Costs, and Financial Aid
Financial assistance is reviewed on the day of the interview, and applicants have an opportunity to talk privately with the financial aid officer. Those interviewed are given forms which must be submitted as soon as possible to expedite receipt of financial aid. Loans and scholarships are awarded to qualifi ed applicants on the basis of established criteria. Students are strongly discouraged from working part-time because of the demands implicit in the study of medicine. For spouses desiring to work, inquiries can be directed to the personnel offices in industrial, business, and educational institutions within the community. The 2006-2007 tuition, which includes all fees, is $35,706, payable in equal installments at the start of each semester. Textbooks and supplies cost about $2,007. A minimum of $15,095 should be allowed for room and board for the ten-month school year.
