Office of Research

Ubiquitous ComputingThe primary focus of the Office of Research is to facilitate funding and education for basic and clinical research activities. The office supports interdisciplinary research throughout the Medical Center and University by providing support for obtaining sponsored research funds and managing sponsored program activity. more

Expanding Research Park

Piedmont Triad Research Park (PTRP) expansion, led by Wake Forest University Health Sciences and its affiliates, is underway to create a total 5.7 million gross square feet of mixed use research park space, reclaiming 200 acres of the Winston-Salem, NC downtown area over the next 20-30 years. more
