One of 26 comprehensive centers in the nation funded by the National Cancer Institute, the Cancer Center is recognized regionally and nationally for expertise in many types of cancer, including leukemia, pediatric cancers, brain tumors, head and neck cancers, breast and prostate cancer, and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. |
Emergency Services
Board-certified specialists in emergency medicine are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Specialists in life threatening conditions such as trauma, stroke and heart attack are ready to administer the latest and most effective treatments. The Medical Center has one of only two burn treatment units in the state, providing complete services from initial treatment through rehabilitation. |
