Section on Rheumatology - The section on Rheumatology is a group practice of rheumatologists and rheumatolgy nurse clinicians, which is part of Wake Forest University Physicians. The rheumatologists are faculty of Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
- Rheumatologists are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), gout, scleroderma, and inflammatory muscle disorders. We are a multidisciplinary practice utilizing the expertise of registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and social workers to meet the needs of our patients.
