Penny Johnson received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Teessside, England in 1986. She has spent her post graduate years specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders focusing primarily on the spine. Over the past nineteen years she has gained experience working in the United Kingdom and France as well as the United States. She has spent time studying manual therapy techniques focusing predominantly on the work of Geoffrey Maitland and James Cyriax. She is certified in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions using manual techniques leading to a membership of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in London, England.
She has three young children and enjoys all sports but in particular tennis and other racquet sports. She has lived in the United States for the past seven years and joined the Centre last year.
