Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center’s 19 bed CARF accredited Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit, located on the third floor of the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Rehabilitation, accepts patients 13 years of age and older who have had a recent significant functional loss related to life altering injury or illness. Patients admitted to the unit typically include those recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, congenital deformity, amputation, multiple trauma, burns, major joint replacement and other neurological and orthopaedic conditions.
