Awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation
The Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury programs at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center were recently awarded a three-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This is the fifth consecutive three-year accreditation that the international accrediting commission has awarded the Wake Forest Baptist rehab programs.
This accreditation represents the highest level of achievement that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrates conformance to the standards established by CARF. The Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury programs underwent a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of on-site surveyors that its programs and services are of the highest quality.
Wake Forest Baptist has been providing acute inpatient rehabilitation services since 1979 and began offering an Acquired Brain Injury Program in 1997.
