Welcome to Rehabilitation Services at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where a wide variety of comprehensive rehabilitation programs are offered in both inpatient and outpatient settings. At Wake Forest Baptist, our goal is to improve the quality of life and the abilities of each individual we serve, following life altering injury or illness, and to help them return to the highest level of functional independence possible within their homes, at their jobs and in their communities. Some patients enter Rehabilitation Services after an inpatient stay at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, some enter from outside hospitals, and some enter from assisted living facilities, while others enter directly into one of our outpatient programs. Through a carefully designed plan of care, we provide services appropriate for each individual, no matter where they enter the continuum. |
