Nuclear Medicine

Welcome to the Nuclear Medicine Department of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, in Winston-Salem, N.C. Our department is centrally located within the Medical Center on the Main Level of Reynolds Tower. Our doors are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with emergency standby available after hours, weekends, and holidays. With many years of experience, the Nuclear Medicine Department has grown to be an important part of Radiology at the Medical Center. Providing you with top-quality diagnostic procedures and meeting your personal needs is our goal.  We are here for you!

Nuclear Medicine has played an important role in the growth of the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for over 30 years. With eight Gamma cameras, a dedicated PET Center, and a large staff comprised of Nuclear Medicine physicians, technologists, nuclear pharmacists, physicists, and secretaries, we are able to provide our patients with state of the art procedures, while meeting their specific patient care needs. We strongly stand by four key values of EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION, COMPASSION and INTEGRITY that make our department and the Medical Center what it is today.
