The Section  of Radiation Biology is one of the three divisions of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

 
Mission Statement
    1. To utilize interdisciplinary advances in cell and molecular biology and translational research to develop novel therapeutic approaches that will enhance our ability to prevent and treat cancer
    2. To educate graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and radiation oncology residents in the principles and proper conduct of basic research
    3. To provide leadership and service to the Department of Radiation Oncology, the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University Health Sciences, and the University for the advancement of cancer and radiation biology research
