Out of the Darkness Walk Sept 20 a Huge Success
 On Saturday, September 20, 2008, the Department of Psychiatry sponsored a team of walkers in the Out of the Darkness event, to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Friends, family and family canines joined the Psychedelics, the department team, for the 5K walk on a gorgeous clear morning at Tanglewood Park.
 The 2008 event was a huge success. In our third year of participation, we rasied nearly $2000! More than $17,000 was raised for the Forsyth County area to help increase awareness, enhance preventive education and research suicide.
