  1. PGY 1

1 month of pediatric surgery
1 month of vascular surgery
1 month of transplant surgery
1 month of trauma surgery
1 month of general surgery
1 month of neurosurgery
1 month of cardiac surgery
1 month of ENT surgery
1 month of urology
1 month of plastic surgery
1 month of anesthesia
1 month of ER department

  1. PGY 2

6 months core general surgery to include:
pediatric surgery
trauma surgery
burn surgery
general surgery (2)
vascular surgery
1 month of orthopedics — hand surgery
1 month of plastic surgery
1 month of plastic surgery research
1 month of radiology
1 month of private practice general surgery
1 month of ENT

  1. PGY 3

6 months core general surgery to include:
oncologic surgery
vascular surgery
CT surgery
trauma burn surgery
general surgery (2)
2 months private practice general surgery
1 month of orthopedics — hand service
1 month of dermatology surgery
1 month of plastic surgery
1 month anesthesia

  1. PGY 4

2 months of the dermatology MOHS service
6 months of plastic surgery
4 months of research

  1. PGY 5

12 months on the plastic surgery service including hand, microsurgery, face trauma, aesthetic, breast, burn, lower extremity, pediatric, craniofacial, and wounds.

  1. PGY 6

12 months on the plastic surgery service including hand, microsurgery, face trauma, aesthetic, breast, burn, lower extremity, pediatric, craniofacial, and wounds.

During the first three years of the integrated program residents have monthly assigned readings on basic science and general surgery topics with exam.
