Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine


Wake Forest’s School of Medicine has been accepted into the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine (CAHCIM), positioning Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Program for Holistic and Integrative Medicine among the top programs in the nation. 

The Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine (CAHCIM) is supported by a grant from the The Bravewell Collaborative (formerly the Philanthropic Collaborative for Integrative Medicine).

Their mission is to help transform medicine and healthcare through rigorous scientific studies, new models of clinical care, and innovative educational programs that integrate biomedicine, the complexity of human beings, the intrinsic nature of healing and the rich diversity of therapeutic systems.
