Holistic and Integrative Medicine in an Academic Center: More than 20 WFUSM faculty are pursuing academic work in CAM and integrative medicine. Educational efforts encompass physician assistants and medical students through faculty development and community outreach. Research includes peer-reviewed publications and research projects funded by foundations and the NIH. Topics of interest include epidemiology and health services, herbs and dietary supplements, biofield therapies, mind-body therapies and spirituality. |
