Medical Center Overview
Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center is comprised of WFU School of Medicine and North Carolina Baptist Hospital, an 870-bed regional tertiary care center that serves a five-state region. The Medical Center is part of a comprehensive system with community hospitals, long-term care and home health care affiliates. The Medical Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services of the highest quality to our patients, with an emphasis on specialized health care services that complement those available in our referral area. The hospital is consistently ranked as one of America’s Best Hospitals (top 50) by US News and World Report.
