Blood Chemistry Lab
The Blood Chemistry Laboratory occupies 192 square feet and contains the following equipment: a Kodak EktachemDT-60 blood chemistry analyzer, a Perkin-Elmer Coleman 101 spectrophotometer, a Yellow Springs Instrument 23L lactate analyzer, an ESA HPLC pump 420 integrated with an ESA Coulochem 5700A detector and a Spectra Physics ChromeJet integrator, a Fisher Isotemp plasma storage freezer (-40o C), a Neslab PF8-80 personal freezer (-90 o C), a Beckman TJ-6 centrifuge with a TJ-R refrigeration unit, a Fisher 228 centrifuge, an IEXC MG microhematocrit centrifuge, 2 Lloyd-Gallenkamp gas analyzers and assorted glass ware and pipettes.
