The Department of Church and Community Relations is responsible for planning, implementing, communicating and the on-going management of the relationship between NC Baptist Hospitals, Inc., and the churches affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. By facilitating appointments, policy interpretation and understanding of our health care services, this function helps keep our vital bond with North Carolina Baptists strong.
The Director works closely with colleagues in the Division of Pastoral Care to enhance ministry through special services for hospital employees on occasions such as Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. This department, along with the Department of Pastoral Care, also provides ministry to employees and their families to make sure that they have pastoral guidance and care in any crisis situation.
