Within the Department of Otolaryngology, Dr. Browne subspecializes in head and neck oncologic surgery, skull base tumors, temporal bone surgery, and microvascular free flap reconstruction. Typical tumors cared for by Dr. Browne involve cancers of the thyroid, larynx, pharynx, palate, jaw, sinuses, salivary glands as well as extensive skin cancers. Skull base tumors Dr. Browne treats include malignant tumors invading the anterior and lateral skull base, juvenile angiofibromas, extracranial meningioma, glomus tumors, and acoustic neuromas. He performs head and neck reconstruction of patients following trauma or cancer surgery, especially those needing microvascular reconstruction. Dr. Browne treats adult and pediatric patients.
