Location of facility:
Hanes Building, Room 2010

Laboratory purpose:
To provide state-of-the-art high resolution magnetic resonance facilities to investigators of the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University.

Laboratory capabilities:
This facility is used for obtaining high resolution, multinuclear NMR spectra on
molecules of biological interest. These studies can provide information on the
structures and conformations of complex biomolecules

Instrumentation:
Bruker AVANCE 600 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer with the following features:

5 mm 1H/133C swithchable probe
5 mm inverse broadband probe with 1H observe and Z-gradient coil
Variable temperature control

The following equipment will be added in 2001:

5 mm inverse 13C/15N inverse probe with 1H observe and 2H lock with triple gradient coils
High resolution magic angle spinning accessory for 13C and 1H
CryoProbe™ Accessory with triple inverse probe and Z-gradient coil
