Mission - Identify, evaluate, and bring to clinical practice new methods and therapies to prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate stroke, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), as well as all other cerebrovascular disorders.
- Create and implement educational materials and activities for Residents, Fellows, visiting faculty, practicing physicians, and the public.
- Improve understanding of basic mechanisms of diseases and interventions that affect the cerebral circulation and the brain, and foster collaboration between the basic and clinical sciences.
The Research Center does not deliver health care.
