Title:  Carotid B-Mode Ultrasound Study to Compare Anti-Atherosclerotic Effects of Torcetrapib/Atorvastatin to Atorvastatin Alone

WFUSM Principal Investigator:  Charles H. Tegeler, M.D.

Purpose:  To look at ultrasound images taken in the carotid arteries and to look at various lipids in the blood of people with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (A5091003) and people with mixed hyperlipidemia (A5091004).

The Torcetrapib project was terminated on December 2, 2006 due to safety findings.
