Title: A Multicenter, Double-blind, Randomized, Placebo Controlled, Parallel-Group Trial to Investigate the Efficacy and Safety of SPM 927 (400 and 600mg/day) as Adjunctive Therapy in Subjects with Partial Seizures with or without Secondary Generalization.

Principal Investigator:

Multi-site, randomized double-blind, add-on therapy on SPM927 or placebo, for refractory partial epilepsy.  

Inclusion Criteria:
 Refractory partial onset epilepsy patients/age 16 to 70/treating with 1 to 3 AEDs/averaging atleast 4 seizures per 28 days.
