Dr. O'Donovan is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he specializes in epilepsy, sleep disorders and syncope. He completed his neurology residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is a faculty member of the sections of epilepsy and stroke in the Department of Neurology. He clinical interests in epilepsy are on surgical treatments, quality of life, psychiatric issues, drug trials and genetics. He is also doing innovative research in autonomic dysfunction in patients with epilepsy with an emphasis on cardiac function and cerebral blood flow.
