Dr. Lovorn graduated from
University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Neuroscience.  After college, she worked for two years at the National Institutes of Health doing research on learning and memory, prior to going to medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.  She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical School.  She is currently faculty in the in-patient rehabilitation Sticht Center, with a special interest in Spinal Cord Injuries
