Stroke severity, outcomes and prevention in women, especially related to hormone therapy and thrombosis markers; gender differences in sub-clinical disease related to mid-life aging, endogenous hormones and markers of thrombosis and endothelial dysfunction; stroke related to pregnancy and pre eclampsia; adherence to stroke prevention medications and behavioral modification
