ROTATIONS REQUIREMENTS BY YEAR

   HO-I:

7 inpatient medicine months
At least one ICU month
Night float call system
4 “No-call” outpatient months
1 ED month
2 outpatient medicine months
1 month neurology outpatient clinics
1 Month neurosurgery

HO-II:

6 months wards
3 months stroke service
3 months general service
2 months epilepsy / EMU
2 months outpatient clinics
1 month neuroimaging and intro to neurophysiology
1 month rehab

HO-III:

3 months consults
3 months pediatric neurology
2 months epilepsy/EMU
3 months EMG/neuromuscular
1 month elective

HO-IV:

1 month senior ward resident
3 months consults
1 month psychiatry
2 months pathology/neuroscience
1 month neurosurgery clinics/elective clinics
4 months electives

Potential Electives:

Additional exposure to any standard rotation
Research Elective
Interventional Radiology
Sleep disorders
Ultrasound
Neurotoxin therapeutics
Pain management
Neuro-ophthalmology
Medical genetics
Neuropsychology
Intraoperative evoked potentials
Introduction to private practice
