Nephrology Expertise — Where Knowledge Makes All The Difference

All WFBMC Nephrology faculty physicians are board certified in nephrology/internal medicine.  These physicians treat patients with kidney disease, conditions, transplants and monitor dialysis.  They train other physicians to become nephrologists and engage in clinical and basic scientific research.  Areas of specific research expertise include inherited kidney disease, kidney disease in African Americans, and other kidney-related issues in the disciplines of public health sciences and genetics.  They have years of expertise and a national reputation in dialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
