Hope Lives!

“Hope Lives!” is the biannual newsletter of the Maya Angelou Research Center on Minority Health, begun in 2005 as a method of informing the Wake Forest University Health Sciences community, our advisory boards, benefactors, and minority health researchers nationwide about the research, outreach and achievements of the Angelou Research Center. It includes a note from the Director, a feature story on disparities research and issues, a focus on the current activities of our National and Regional Advisory Board, as well as a spotlight on a particular faculty or staff member in each issue. The newsletter also provides updates on all current Center research projects and endowment initiatives, upcoming national and local events and conferences relating to minority health, and the activities of the Student National Medical Association. Use the links below to view the newsletters. If you would like to have the newsletter mailed to you, send an email to Sarah Langdon (slangdon@wfubmc.edu).
