The most common “complaint” we hear is… “I wish I would have done this sooner”. By far most patients find LASIK to be very easy and comfortable with little or no time off of work. It doesn’t hurt and only takes about 5 minutes per eye.

My name is Jack Stepp, I'm a certified ophthalmic technician with approximately 17 years experience in ophthalmology. At present I have personally been involved in a little over 6,000 laser and refractive procedures. Over the years I have had the opportunity to have LASIK surgery by other surgeons I've worked with, but have declined for reasons of comfort with the particular surgeon. After I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Walter and assist him with his surgeries by acting as scrub technician and laser engineer, I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to perform my surgery. I had LASIK surgery with Dr. Walter in April of 2004, and have been extremely satisfied with my results. I now can see 20/15 in both eyes without glasses or contacts. I only wish I could have worked with him earlier in my career. I've worked with the "specialists" before; Dr. Walter is a TRUE specialist.
