Community Events

Heart Center faculty and staff give regular public lectures on cardiovascular disease and healthy lifestyle changes at the BestHealth at Hanes Mall, the Community Resource Center, and to other organizations around the region.

The American Heart Association’s annual Heart and Stroke Walk raises millions of dollars annually for cardiovascular disease research and education at Wake Forest Baptist. Please join a Wake Forest Baptist team for this year’s Tanglewood Heart and Stroke Walk on Oct. 18.

The annual Heart and Sole 5K Run/Walk and the 1 mile walk brings out hundreds of participants to help raise money for the Heart Center’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program benefiting people with heart or lung problems who need supervised rehabilitation exercise programs.
