House Staff salaries are paid bi-weekly (every other Thursday). This is a total of 26 paycheck per year. New house staff beginning their training on July 1, 2005 will receive their first paycheck on July 14, 2005. All hospital employees are required to have direct deposit. You will be expected to complete a direct deposit form during Orientation. Please be sure to bring the appropriate banking information with you to complete this form (a blank deposit slip or voided check) so there will be no delay in your receiving your pay.

Pay Advance Program for Incoming Residents
The Hospital provides a Pay Advance Program for incoming residents. This program allows the residents to request an advance in their contract salary up to $2,000, the biweekly check will be adjusted accordingly. The resident must agree to repay this advance by payroll deduction beginning with their first paycheck in July and ending on December 31. This is a one-time only opportunity to help the residents financially until the regular bi-weekly paychecks begin.

If you would like to take advantage of this pay advance opportunity, you may print, complete and mail the Pay Advance Form to Diane Hartley in the House Staff Office anytime prior to Orientation.
