| Preston Miller, MD. Assistant Professor Trauma, SICU and Burn Surgery Publications
| Dr. Preston Miller grew up in Georgia. He attended college at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received a degree in Psychology. He attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine where he also completed his General Surgery Residency. He then went on to complete a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Tennessee-Memphis at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. His clinical interest include lung injury, ventilator associated pneumonia and shock resuscitation, with multiple published manuscripts/national presentations on these and other subjects. His current ongoing research projects pertain to pulmonary contusion and ventilator-associated pneumonia.
