| Kimberly J. Hansen, MD., FACS. Director of the Vascular Surgery Training Program and Director of the Clinical Vascular Laboratory Professor of Surgery Vascular Surgery Publications | He earned his M.D. degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 1980. After completing his General Surgery Residency, which included a Bradshaw Fellowship in Surgery Research, Dr. Hansen completed his General Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of California School of Medicine – San Francisco in 1987. His NIH funded research and intramurally supported projects are clinically based. Dr. Hansen’s special clinical interests emphasize renal and visceral artery disease.
