He received his M.D. degree from the University of Virginia in 1972. Residency training at N. C. Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem and did a traveling fellowship in Surgical Endocrinology at Boston University Medical Center. Special interest in Endocrine Surgery. Dr. Albertson is married with four children.
