Gastroenterologist
A gastroenterologist is a physician with specialized training in understanding and treating the diseases of the digestive system (the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder -- also called the gastrointestinal, or GI system).
The gastroenterologist team here at the Digestive Health Center has the special facilities and training to conduct sophisticated tests (see list below) to diagnose digestive problems, and to help you and your physician to determine the best way to treat your symptoms.
