From the department have come significant contributions to the literature of this specialty, including journal articles, book chapters, and a major family medicine textbook. Publication of case reports, research studies, review articles and textbook chapters is encouraged, as are contributions to other media.
For interested residents, there is editorial support and guidance available to facilitate contributions to the medical literature. The department is also actively involved in medical student education, affording residents ample opportunities for clinical teaching.
