Research Interests

Stephen W. Davis, M.A., in addition to being the individual overseeing computer related activities for the department, has significant experience in a broad variety of research areas.   He is interested in computers in education and underserved populations.  Within the department he works as the data manager for projects on Latino health research.  With colleagues on the undergraduate campus he is a co-investigator of a long term project aimed at using the Habitat for Humanity venue to increase computer and internet access in the homes of the economically disadvantaged.  He also has experience in health education research, including testicular cancer and TSE education with adolescents and cervical cancer education with Native Americans.  For the past thirteen years he has taught research design and analysis to undergraduate psychology honors students utilizing the SPSS software package
