Department of Emergency Medicine Recognized for Research Efforts
The Wake Forest University (WFU) Department of Emergency Medicine (EM) was honored to receive an award recently from the WFU Physicians Assistant (PA) program for "outstanding performance as a Master Project Advisor and an authentic commitment to community-based research." The award was presented to the Clinical Research Program of the Department of Emergency Medicine as a group, in recognition for numerous EM faculty members serving ad mentors to PA students preparing their Masters theses. Our faculty members are involved in numerous areas of clinical and public health research, and serve as teachers and advisors to PA students, medical students, resident physicians, and junior faculty members.
