Robert Petrilli, M.D., Emergency Medicine Resident Library

On October 16th, beloved residency alumnus and former faculty member, Bob Petrilli, was honored by having the Emergency Medicine Resident Library named after him. Those attending the dedication ceremony included Bob’s immediate family and many former residency alumni. Bob was an outstanding resident, faculty member, teacher and advisor during his tenure at the medical center from 1982-1996. Bob won numerous teaching awards from the residency program as well as a faculty advisor award from the medical school class of 1996. Bob has been recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, and although not currently practicing Emergency Medicine, he continues to impact lives in many special ways. Congratulations Bob!
