WFUBMC EM Residents win Lifesaver’s Bowl…Again!

The team of Tom Forsberg, MD (Class of 2009) and Bill Moore, MD (Class of 2009) won the 2008 North Carolina College of Emergency Physician’s Lifesaver Bowl at their annual meeting, “June Jam”, held in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was Wake Forest’s fifth win in a row.
The Lifesaver’s Bowl is a jeopardy style quiz game that pits competitors from each of NC’s five E.M. residency programs (
Carolinas Medical Center, Duke, East Carolina, UNC, and Wake Forest
) against each other in hopes of winning the coveted silver cup and bragging rights for the year.
Since its inception in 1990, the residents from
Wake Forest
have won the competition a record 11 times! Congratulations Tom and Bill for keeping up the strong tradition of winning teams.
