Medical Student Rotation

Visiting Students

Please contact the clerkship coordinator, Tracie Goldsmith, at 336-716-4648 or the clerkship director, Dr. David Manthey, so that your name can be added to our list of potential candidates. Please contact us as early as possible since space is at a premium.

 The following seven items need to be completed before consideration:

1) The "Extramural Student Application" must be completed by yourself and your school's Dean of Student Affairs (or equivalent office). 
2) A Student Immunization Record.
3) A letter of recommendation, preferably from an Emergency Medicine faculty.
4) A brief written statement detailing your reasons for choosing WFUBMC.
5) A current medical school transcript
6) USMLE scores to date
7) Your updated CV
 

Send these seven documents and a check (payble to WFUSOM) for the $50 application fee to:

Your application will be reviewed after receipt of all above documents. If accepted, your application will be forwarded to our office of Student Affairs to insure that the medical school will also process your application expeditiously.
