In addition to their research activities, Comparative Medicine's faculty and staff administer the Animal Resources Program and the WFU Primate Center, both of which offer facilities and services to investigators throughout the institution.  They provide clinical care and offer veterinary pathology services.

Comparative Medicine's educational and training opportunities include  residencies, research fellowships, and a graduate program.

Dr. Jay Kaplan is the head of the Department of Pathology's Section on Comparative Medicine.
