Meeting the emotional and medical needs of the patient

Our Cancer Patient Support Program (CPSP) was among the first in the nation to address the emotional and psychological impact of living with cancer. CPSP offers counseling and support services for breast cancer patients and their families.

To help patients feel and look their best during this challenging time, the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center offers the special services of the Appearance Boutique, operated in partnership with Dignity Products, Inc.

Looking to the future

Our goal at the Breast Care Center is not just to cure individuals, but to improve current treatment programs and eventually find a cure for cancer. It is only through making cutting-edge research available to the patient that real progress will be made in cancer care.

When we can prevent our mothers, sisters and daughters from getting breast cancer, we will have achieved our goal.
