We even feature a pathology laboratory right in the clinic, allowing for “on the spot” diagnosis, which can lead to a more rapid development of a breast cancer treatment plan—in most cases, the plan is in place by the end of the day.
Plus, the Center offers state-of-the-art genetic screening for those seeking breast cancer risk assessment. Patients who are found to have some risk can then elect to participate in breast cancer prevention clinical trials for access to the latest advances in this area.

Our cancer patient support program, cited as a model program by the National Cancer Policy Board, offers counseling, support groups, and education for patients and their families. We also offer an appearance boutique where our patients receive expert, compassionate consultation on a variety of products that can promote confidence and provide comfort for those undergoing breast cancer treatment as well as the treatment of other cancers. The boutique is conveniently located within the Cancer Center so patients can visit when they are on our campus.
