Postdoctoral Fellow Position Available
Interdisciplinary postdoctoral training positions with high level of independence In the Department of Cancer Biology of Wake Forest University Health Sciences . Training opportunities are available in (1) Interaction between emotional stress and apoptosis in cancer cells. Project involves working with mouse models of stress and depression, analysis of signal transduction and apoptosis in mouse models and in tissue culture. (2) Development of prostate cancer-targeted inhibitors of anti-apoptotic signaling pathways. Project involves computer modeling of drug-inhibitor interactions, chemical synthesis and analysis of inhibitors in tissue culture and in mouse models of prostate cancer.
