Current Research:  The work that I have embarked on has at its core understanding the mechanism that accounts for the G1 restriction imposed on the E1B-55K-mutant virus. A greater understanding of this phenomenon may reveal how this virus can be manipulated to improve its therapeutic index.

Hobbies/other interest: Running, biking, hiking, camping, swinging, traveling, taking pictures, writing poetry, …..eating –especially good food
