Name: Mayur Choudhary

Email address: mchoudha@wfubmc.edu, choudhary.mayur@gmail.com

Education: B.Tech (Biotechnology), School of Biotechnology, GGSIP University , Delhi, India (2002-2006)

Advisor/Lab: Dr. Linda J. Metheny-Barlow

Current Research: I am working on the hypothesis that tumor cells can alter junctional contacts between endothelial cells and mural cells via degradation or inactivation of Cx43 (which is a gap junction protein). This might prevent mural cells from exerting a growth inhibitory effect on endothelial cells and promote tumor angiogenesis.
