Masters Program in Bioethics at Wake Forest Univeristy

Course Offerings

  • General Requirements

30 credit hours total (24 hours course work, 6 hours thesis work).
Nine credit hours per semester constitutes full-time status.  The maximum per semester is 15 hours.

The full-time Master of Arts in Bioethics degree program is designed to be completed in one academic year plus a summer term (or, alternatively, a fall term) for completion of the thesis.  Part-time students may take up to 6 years for completion.  Many bioethics courses will be offered in late afternoon or early evening time slots, to accommodate working professionals.  Distance learning models that maximize real-time interaction, such as remote video classroom arrangements, will be considered for future development.
