Faculty Position The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking an anesthesiologist to join the Section of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management (RAAPM). The faculty of the RAAPM section direct residents during a dedicated rotation during which they provide 24-hour Acute Pain Service coverage for patients throughout our more than 800 bed hospital and at home. Faculty and residents utilize nerve stimulation catheter techniques, ultrasound guidance, ambulatory peripheral nerve block infusions, and extended release epidural morphine in a dedicated regional area complete with regional anesthesia RNs. Academic activities include ongoing clinical research, fresh cadaver anatomy labs, a visiting clinical preceptorship, and a weekly subspecialty conference. An individual is being sought to join our section devoted exclusively to teaching, research and clinical care in regional anesthesia and acute pain management. Contact Information: J.C.
